The Corporate Insolvency Bar Association is set to host its annual conference on shareholder oppression, liquidation law developments, and court order enforcements this forthcoming Friday, 5 July.

The Corporate and Insolvency Bar Association welcomes practitioners from across the legal, finance and accountancy professions to its annual conference, commencing 2 pm Friday, 5th July in the Distillery Building, Church St, Dublin 7. Attendees can expect a day filled with insightful discussions and invaluable knowledge-sharing sessions exploring recent developments in corporate and insolvency law.

Speakers & Panels

The conference will begin with a welcome address from Chair of the Corporate and Insolvency Bar Association Kelley Smith SC with the Hon. Mr Justice Brian O’Moore providing opening remarks. John Kennedy SC, Vice Chair of CIBA, will deliver a talk on the enforcement of court orders and asset recovery where he will illustrate the given new directors duties, fraudulent and reckless trading, personal liability and attachment committal.

Over the course of two panels, legal insights will be shared over topics including recent developments in relation to the law of liquidations and shareholder oppression actions.
