Pádraig has over 30 years experience in practice at the Bar of Ireland, with a specialisation in medical negligence. He has been appointed to the Hepatitis C & HIV compensation tribunal and an experienced Chairperson of the Mental health Tribunals . He has also won tenders as an experienced Counsel with the State Claims Agency, and has a commitment to the Higher Education Sector at UCC.

Pádraig is an experienced lecturer, trainer and curriculum designer for law in the department of Forensic Medicine, with strong academic credentials and extensive experience in Negotiation and Business Strategy. He is also experienced Junior Counsel State Claims Agency in medical malpractice, with involvement in Army Deafness Audiology cases.
