Biography
Craig is a practicing barrister, called to the bar of Ireland in 2019. Craig has a general civil practice but also represents clients in criminal matters.
In his criminal practice, Craig has appeared for clients in the District and Circuit Court as well as in the High Court for related Judicial Review proceedings. Craig is currently on the Criminal Legal Aid panel and also represents private clients in criminal matters.
In his civil practice, Craig has acted and advised in a wide range of cases including in contract law, debt recovery, commercial matters, personal injuries, defamation, data protection, licensing/permits, employment and equality law. Craig has appeared in the District, Circuit and High Courts in Dublin, Cork and throughout the Eastern Circuit, as well as the Workplace Relations Commission and at Coroner Inquests.
Prior to commencing practice at the bar, Craig gained valuable experience in a variety of legal roles in areas including residential tenancies, banking and asset finance, aviation and aircraft leasing, insurance, accounting, auditing and other financial services.
Craig has also lectured in the areas of contract, tort and legal issues in marketing which includes defamation, consumer protection, data protection/GDPR, and intellectual property law.
