Biography
In addition to his General Practice, Peter’s specialised areas of practice include Employment Law, Administrative Law, Corporate & Regulatory Law, Data Protection Law, Public Procurement Law, Tort & Personal Injury Law and Intellectual Property Law.
Peter also has a practice in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) as a CEDR Accredited Mediator and in Arbitration as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration (FCIArb) and engaged as a Non-Executive Director on Boards and Committees in Ireland, Switzerland and the USA.
Holding a BA. BAI in Engineering and Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin, and being a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of Engineers Ireland, Peter’s career is marked by roles in both the public and private sectors across a diverse and varied range of arenas.
Peter has served as CEO/Director of the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC), Director of Corporate Services of both the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), and the Road Safety Authority in Ireland (RSA).
Internationally, Peter served as the Head of Conformity Assessment for the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and Secretary to ISO/CASCO the ISO/IEC Committee for Conformity Assessment Standards in Geneva. In his earlier career he spent many years as an Electronics Engineer as the Head of Quality & Safety in Eircom Networks in Ireland and the UK.
Peter’s reputation as a trusted legal advisor is grounded in his extensive experience and commitment to excellence.He brings a pragmatic and personable approach to complex legal matters, providing clients with knowledgeable counsel, based on his years of practice and real-world insight.
