The Bar of Ireland, Charities & NGO’s Promote Volunteering

On Thursday 10th May 2018 The Bar of Ireland hosted a CPD seminar entitled ‘Access to Justice- Legal rights, Entitlements and the Voluntary sector’.

The event was established to provide information on the work of volunteer advisors and highlighting the importance of the services provided by a number of charities and NGO’s. 

The event was chaired by The Hon. Mr. Justice Denis McDonald and speakers included Sinead Kerin, Acting Managing Solicitor, Mercy Law, Robbert Lynch, Manager of the Welfare Section, INOU, Keith Rooney BL, Jane O’Sullivan, Managing Solicitor, Community Law & Mediation and Keith Walsh, Keith Walsh Solicitors.

The Voluntary Assistance Scheme the pro bono scheme of The Bar of Ireland are always looking for members to volunteer.
