Biography
Emily is a practising barrister with a general practice, and a particular interest in criminal law, constitutional law, and procedural rights.
In addition to her practice at the bar, Emily provides drafting services to the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission and the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman.
Emily was the Procedural Rights Fellow for the Irish Council for Civil Liberties for 2023.
Recent Cases & Legal Work
Emily’s practice focuses on criminal defence work, and asylum and international protection appeals. Her criminal defence practice includes matters appealed to the Supreme Court:
