Biography
Paul McCarthy SC was called to the Bar in 1989 and took Silk in 2016.
His predominant area of Practice is in Family Law.
He is a mediator (Friary Law) and holds a Professional Diploma in Arbitration from UCD.
Publications
Paul contributed the Chapter on Discovery and Disclosure Obligations in Family Law in the most recent edition of Fitzpatrick, Dwyer and Abrahamson’s, Discovery and Disclosure; (Round Hall).
Speeches & Lectures
Paul regularly delivers talks on all areas of family law practice; he provides an annual review of notable developments in the family law sphere to FLAC volunteers; he participates in the Family Lawyers Association webinars and seminars and has addressed the annual conference of Circuit Judges on several occasions.
