The Competition Authority issued its consultation document today into the legal professions. Many of the issues have been highlighted and discussed over a number of months. The quadrupling of insurance company profits in motor insurance alone, as shown in the IFSRA figures published today, is further proof that the industry has misled the Irish government and public in recent years.
